Activities
& Courses
We provide all year a range of adventurous, educational opportunities on the river, sea and land. The Centre programmes are designed to make the best use of these facilities and natural resources and also those found on nearby Dartmoor. Our Outdoor Adventure Activities cover the following areas:
Our courses are split up into 3 categories:
Getting on the water could not be easier with two slipways and our own 100 metre pontoon giving access at all states of the tide, boat parking and long-term storage. All our challenging activities are delivered within clear safety guidelines approved by the Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority (*AALA Ref R0615) and appropriate national governing bodies e.g. Royal Yachting Association (RYA), British Canoe Union (BCU). From the novice to the experienced and with a wide range of programmes and tailor-made packages available from a week, a day or a half day, the Mount Batten Centre is the ideal place to explore the benefits of the outdoors as a learning environment and have fun in the process. |
