Instructor Courses

 

The Mount Batten Centre offers instructor courses for both the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and British Canoeing (BC). So whether you are looking to upgrade your existing qualifications, begin a new career or assist your local watersports club please get in touch to discuss your requirements. Please note if none of these dates work for you we can, subject to minimum numbers, arrange bespoke instructor courses for clubs and organised groups. Our upcoming 2017 Instructor Course dates:

RYA Dinghy Instructor: Pre-entry assessement 6th May and Instructor Course 29th May - 2nd June

RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor: 18th & 19th and 25th & 26th November

British Canoeing Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Paddlesport Training & Assessment: 21st - 24th September

 RYA Safe and Fun online Safeguarding Course- From April 2015 it will be a pre-course requirement for all newly qualifying Dinghy, Windsurf and Senior Instructors to complete the RYA Safe and Fun online course. For further details on the online course please see here
