The Mount Batten Watersports and Activities Centre, which includes The Lookout, is delighted to have retained its ‘very good’ rating of a 5 Food Hygiene Rating after a recent Environmental Health Officer visit.

Sarah Davis, Hospitality and Events Manager at the Centre said “We’d like to thank all our hard working team members for maintaining and exceeding the standards required to ensure a continued rating of 5. We’ve made significant changes to the Centre’s food and drink offering since welcoming Gavin Hobbs to the Centre as Head Chef including a fresh new look, new name and menu to The Lookout, our onsite cafe/bar, and we’d like to thank our members and customers for their continued support and feedback throughout the year.”

The Lookout is open from 9am daily serving breakfast, cakes, lunch, hot and soft drinks, bar drinks and also has a grab and go selection for those that perhaps don’t have time to stop and enjoy the views The Lookout commands.

Sarah concludes “The feedback we continue to get from wedding parties, event organisers, guests staying here and daily visitors to the Centre is that the food is excellent and great value for money, and that the atmosphere and views we have here are truly some of the best in Plymouth. We look forward to welcoming new customers throughout the summer and through the autumn and winter period too.”

The Centre has a wide range of water and land based activities for ages 7+ to try this summer or if you’d prefer not to get your feet wet, The Lookout is open daily for breakfast, cakes, drinks and lunch!
