More Information

We offer a variety of RYA Powerboat courses, run by fully qualified instructors who will provide you with a safe and controlled learning environment, whilst ensuring that the course is both interactive and fun! For adults wishing to start Powerboating or purchasing a Rigid Hulled inflatable (RIB) we recommend the RYA Powerboat Level Two – an intensive two-day course covering close quarters boat handing, slow and high speed manoeuvres and an introduction to nautical theory. No previous powerboating experience is required for the Level Two course and everything needed to get afloat is provided with no hidden costs for fuel or certification fees. We run Level Two courses throughout the year – but if you can’t find a date that works for you then we can run these courses on bespoke dates with a minimum group size of 2 people.  Minimum age for RYA Powerboat Level Two is 12 years, so for Junior Powerboaters we recommend our 1 day RYA Junior Powerboat Level One during the school holidays which provides a fun taster to powerboating. We also offer RYA Safety Boat courses for those looking toward progressing their powerboating skills to providing rescue cover for sailing dinghies, windsurfers and other watersports craft.
