Last week, as Plymouth hosted the SailGP third round of season two, Team Spain adopted the Mount Batten Watersports and Activities Centre as part of the SailGP Adopt a Club programme.

Driver Phil Robertson kindly took pupils from one of our partner schools, Woodlands, on a virtual tour of the Spanish F50 after the pupils had enjoyed a day of sailing here at the Centre. Students Brandon Lowe and Matthew Walsh really enjoyed the personal virtual tour and gave it a big thumbs up and a huge THANK YOU. You can watch the tour here

During the day Brandon and Matthew learnt how to rig a Hawk 20, how to steer and they even got a chance to see the Spanish team out on the water during practice.

We wish Phil and the rest of Team Spain the very best of luck for the rest of their SailGP campaign.
